The Pitmaster

Pitmaster Greg Andreotta has be honing his BBQ skills for close to 10 years. Growing up in the Northeast, he searched all over to find good BBQ. He traveled to many BBQ regions, but it was a trip to Austin, Texas that drove his passion to start Hook ‘Em Smokehouse.

He fell in love with the Central Texas style of BBQ’ing and wanted to bring that love and passion to the Philadelphia region.

The mission of Hook ‘Em Smokehouse is to bring people together in a family setting with perfectly smoked BBQ.

Texas Style BBQ?

Texas style BBQ is simple in its approach. The seasonings we use have the common base of Salt and Pepper. This style allows the flavor of the meat and the wood used to smoke it to shine. Because this method of cooking preserves so much flavor, our meats are cooked without the aid of any sauce. Texas style is truly BBQ in its purest form.
